Vintage Splitting Axe 1.25kg (2.3/4 lb)

1 x Roughneck Vintage Splitting Axe 1.25kg (2.3/4 lb)

Engineered for fast, effective splitting of soft woods, the ROUGHNECK Vintage Splitting Axe is built for clean, efficient firewood production where speed and control are key. Its balanced design and sharper cutting profile make it ideal for smaller to medium logs, allowing quicker, repeated strikes with less effort than heavier splitting tools.

The polished steel alloy head features a sharp cutting blade designed to slice cleanly through wood fibres, driving splits quickly through softer timber with minimal resistance. This cutting-focused profile makes a splitting axe the preferred choice when working through straight-grained soft woods, where precision and pace outperform the brute wedge force of a splitting maul. Finished with anti-rust protection and secured with a reliable head-to-handle fixing, the head is built for long-term durability and dependable performance.

An FSC-certified hickory handle delivers natural shock absorption, strength and a traditional, well-balanced feel, giving confident control and reduced fatigue during extended use.

A tough, traditional splitting axe built for speed, accuracy and efficient soft-wood splitting.
