The IRWIN Vise-Grip locking welding clamp has deep-throated and U-shaped jaws for visibility and working space. Holds parts in alignment, even with materials of different thickness.

Use on sheet metal work on automobiles. Hex key adjusting screw that tightens to draw materials closer together and also provides controlled release.
