This Marshalltown Carbon Steel Square Notched Trowel is perfect for tile, carpet, or other floor-covering insulation. The notches on the trowel allow you to spread and comb the adhesive into even lines of identical thickness creating gaps in the adhesive which allows the air to escape when a tile is pressed into position. The notch style and size help control the depth and amount of adhesive being applied. The blade is manufactured from carbon steel and is attached to an aluminium alloy mounting by rivets. This tool is fitted with a resilient DuraSoft® handle which provides a soft feel, reduces fatigue, and offers excellent durability.
